Spent 3 night at the Alpen Hotel and would choose it again. Spacious room, loved the decor, breakfast excellent. All the staff are helpful and friendly in a "natural" way. Not far from Karlsplatz/Center.

Lovely hotel, the staff is polite and service is good. Good breakfast choice. The moquette in the room felt a bit out of date and the area is undergoing major works with crossings and roads very busy, loud and disruptions.

Not a good choice concerning the value for money paid!
We clearly requested double bed but the room was two single beds beside without attachment and not comfortable!

No kettle and coffee manchine in the room and the wifi quality not good at all!

The neighbourhood where the hotel is located does not feel safe at nights!

Anyway it was close to city center and metro as a positive point about the hotel!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable rooms and only a couple of minutes walk to the shopping area and the metro. The bar in the hotel was nice and the staff were super friendly. I ended up drinking and chatting until early the following morning in the bar. Thoroughly recommended for your stay in Munich.

The room was functional and comfortable. The traditional Bavarian breakfast was terrific, and their dining area, and patio space, were very pleasant. The hotel is a block away from a noisy-at-night part of town, which may be either a pro or con. Although that kind of nightlife isn't my thing, it also wasn't much of a bother. Excellent proximity to the train station and to the city center. Friendly staff.

Fully refurbished hotel with everything new inside as close to city center as you can get. Hotel is all about BIO products and ECO friendly furniture made of natural wood... Good breakfast, very clean rooms, very polite employees. I personally don't like only the refurbished squeaky wooden floors all around the hotel, but that's just a minor comment. Hotel for recommendation!

Modern and recently redone. Staff are all polite and friendly. Clean. Comfortable. Good internet. Good air-conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast was included in my rate and was good. Area feels a bit dodgy but is actually fine.
