Huge variety of cakes. The green tea was also very tasty. Service was exceptionally fast and very friendly. We had a conversation about the tea ingredients and she made us try another of her favorite teas.

Lübeck Marzipan (German: Lübecker Marzipan) refers to marzipan originating from the city of Lübeck in northern Germany! Lübeck, as the capital of the Hanseatic League, was an important trading hub, which insured a steady supply of ingredients. Consequently, in the 18th century, the marzipan produced in Lübeck started becoming well known for its high quality, due to its high almond content. Unmissable!

Sat outside. The staff was really nice. The cake was also good. I got the marcipantorte and some coffee. There was a lot of smokers why we had to leave having three small kids.

Excellent coffee shop. I had the vegetarian breakfast made of fruits, vegetables, tzatziki and some tomato and dill spread. I also ordered a marzipan infused coffee and tea. Everything was excellent and came in copious quantities! We didn't have to wait much and the service was ok.
They do not have an English menu so grab a German speaking friend with you!

Great selection of cakes. The cake I had was very tasty and wasn't too sweet, just the right amount of sugar. The capuccino could have been better, but overall a good place.

You can wait for 1 hour for someone to take your order. Staff is ok, there are some who are nice and professional and others are basically hating you for visiting. Cakes are nice and that is the only reason we come here. All in all they could use someone who will organize and control the staff.

I remembered this place as an icon of confectionery but unfortunately I had to step out rather disappointed. The strawberry cake was ok, nothing special but the other one - no title was indicated at the counter - was too buttery just like a bad wedding cake. Oh I was disappointed. But the lady who served us was extremely nice and kind.
