My friend was been in clinic today at night. He felt himself definitely bad, we had a concerns, that it’s corona. Nurse and doctor were very attentive and professional. Thank you so much from Ukrainian people

I am an exchange student in Leipzig and I had an emergency problem. Even though I was not even able to stand up, they made me wait almost for two hours and when it was finally my turn to get examined, the doctor told me they won't treat me here and instead, i should go to Hausarzt. In Hausarzt, you can't get a treatment before making an appointment. Although the doctor of course already knew it, she made me go there. The patient who isn't able to stand up, walk or talk properly, who is in emergency need.

We came to the Notfallaufnahme around 1 pm because my boyfriend got hurt .And we had to wait for about 6 hours . I really don’t think that this is the way of treating the patients. People come to the Emergency because they couldn’t handle the pain or had accident. I hope yhe people from the UKL read our views and know what they are lacking .

I was staying at the kids station and some of the nurse are terribly bad. I was staying at some other Klinik but this one is the way too bad compared to other ones. Students are too slow for finishing their job. For example, my baby was crying for hungry but she was playing with my baby which is so annoying. And Klima Anlage were too cold for me and also for my baby. Also they make an appointment randomly without talking to the doctor. And also they don’t even explain anything about what we should do and what is not. I don’t recommend anybody to this station. Thank you for this worst staying.

Except long waiting time even with a previous appointment and a few staff who make you feel horrible for not speaking German, it’s a very organized hospital with wonderful doctors.

Didn't visit the hospital but this one star is only because the receptionist answered the phone.

What an absolute rude person. Asked him a question concerning an urgent matter, but he just told me to go to my Hausarzt in an impolite tone and hung up the phone in my face without even answering the question!

I gave birth here and the way I was treated was abhorrent. No beds when I arrived, I had to wander the hall while in labor. I was given incompetent medical treatment that put my baby and I in danger. The midwives were also horrible to me. Some examples: I was not told what was going on or allowed to make decisions, they just did things to me. I was scolded to not make so much noise during labor and a one rolled her eyes and told me not to wince while being stitched up because it “wasn’t that bad”. After the birth, they would say rude things IN ENGLISH about how I didn’t speak good german, then refuse to communicate with me. They would just take my son and not tell me where he was. The one time someone did talk to me, it was an older nurse who brought a younger one in to translate and basically yelled at me to stop being a wimp, get the epidural out of my back (not something I had any control over) and get up and walk around (they were mad because they had to bring me food instead of me getting my own 30 MINUTES after I gave birth).

My son came here a year later for a high fever and was kept overnight for two nights, given ultrasounds, an attempted (botched) urinary catheter, IVs and much more only for it to turn out he had a simple ear infection. In short, the staff here are overwhelmingly either rude, idiots, or both. Stay far away, especially if you are an expat.
