All the menu was in English but the service was super friendly and would explain anything you need. Also ask for recommendations. We tried the Luthergericht and is definitely worth it. It’s huge for just 1person! The most expensive here are the beers:4,80 for a 0,5 glass. Coming from Berlin this sounds too much for me!

Amazing restaurant! Our waiter was one of the best I’ve experienced all around Europe in many years. The food was exquisite! So tasty, so right! If you’re in Leipzig and are searching for traditional German food... YOU HAVE TO GO THERE... A++! Hands down the best German restaurant I’ve been to.

For a place in the heart of the city I expected way more. I am NOT satisfied with the service at all - the woman doesn't speak english AT ALL wich is a must for a place like this. After all this is a restaurant in the center of the city.. She was demonstratively speaking in german ALL the time and she was comunicating ONLY with the person on our table who was speaking german as well. Obviousy the rest of the people on the table were not so important and didn't need any 'attention'.
The steak with horseradish sause was too spicy/hot for my taste. They should definitely pay attention to how much they put in the dish in the future or at least warn the customers to be aware of how spicy this dish is.
In general my honest opinion is that I do NOT recomment the place - there are better options nearby with better atmosphere and service.

Service is good. Food had an amazing presentation. Apfelstrudel tasted very nice! But I didn’t enjoy the dumplings.

They have been so kind! They have a menu in English (not so often you find that here), and they even spoke a little. The food is fine and fair priced (a good sized plate for 14-18€ is enough of a meal), close to the centre and delicious. Good place
