I was in the mood of having potato and meat and asked for a recommendation. That was nice but I was expecting something bigger. Maybe they have other nice options in the menu but it was worth a try.

The waiter is so gentle and the interior of the place is cool. Sitting outside is also nice cause of the view, like you are in a mini square surrounded of small shops and a water fountain.

The food was nice but the best thing is service. The friendliest people ever. Beer with syrup is also good:)

As we arrived we asked if there where tables available, the response was "if there's empty tables"
An empty table was stacked with dirty dishes, we found a table and waited more then 20 mins with no sign of being severed nor being handed a menu.
If front of house service CBA then I wouldn't want to know how it's behind the bar or cooker.

This place is little overrated (in my opinion). The interiors are gorgeous and boys serving, are well mannered and warm. But, what is disturbing, is the Food. I'm not complaining about the quality or how they were served, but the preparations were somehow, not treat for my taste buds. I have tried the dishes outside and they taste normal or better than Kartoffelhaus. Otherwise, the place is cool and good for family dineouts. This place is easy to spot, as it's just a few steps from Thomas Kirche or Bach Museum. They also have arrangements outside under sheds. Read my ratings 3.5* and this is an upscale restaurant.

Worth trying if you are adventurous

the food was great ! the place was quite full, so reservation is a good idea. the staff was really nice ! we'll come again !
