Lucked out and got a room overlooking the square outside, so I extended my stay by a night! Really friendly staff, well equipped hostel, and a comfortable bed. Great location in the middle of old town. Easy walk/train/tram/bus/bike to outer suburbs, the public transport here is amazing. Will definitely stay if I come to Leipzig again. Only downside would be the labyrinth you have to navigate to get to the stairs/lift from your room, but it is well signposted.

Comfortable bed and super clean spaces. The bar has nice beer options and drinks. Receptionists are cool. I've just missed a vending machine and the inner courtyard can be noisy at night. Location is awesome.

I read before arrival many complaints about the noise, and it is true. There is a big noise, but it gets more quiet around 11. I wouldn't expect any better when the hostel is located in the center of the city on the main "party" street. Other than that the hostel is perfect for the price. Clean and has a nice staff.

Checked in around 5pm as check in closes at 6pm because of covid. Staff on the desk are very friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a really nice stay. The location of hostel is perfect it's dead centre of city and only a few minutes walk from train station. The rooms are really big, clean and today that's all you can want. There are loads of restaurants and pubs walking distance from hostel which is great aswell. The price of staying here was very reasonable aswell. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend here

A good hostel overall. Breakfast is a bit over priced for what it is and it's annoying the way they lock most of the inside doors. Nice shower and cooking facilities. Clean and well located.

This hostel works with volunteers. That means, they have people who work there and to whom they do not need to pay.

And they are nice to you when they need volunteers, like when it is a high season and then they will ask you to leave suddenly when they do not need you.

Stay away from them!!!

Great place to stay. Clean, neat, excellent breakfast (the €7.50 is worthwhile). The only "inconvenient" is the huge size of the floors. The hallways look like a labyrinth.
