Really nice food, typical German dishes, big portions
, Friendly staff. Would recommend their Tunnelblick snaps, it's tasty, sweet and goes down nicely.

I can highly recommend this nice Restaurant. Yes it is a bit more expensive than a standard Restaurant. But
you can expect a really good service and Quality of the food.
To me, all ingredients were fresh and done with a good know how.

The only little improvement suggestion is, that they could give the lamb a few minutes more time to cook.

But we will definitely come again. Enjoy!

Hills Tunnel is an classic, traditional Sachsen restraunt in the middle of a popular, upbeat street.

The ambience is classic and formal. The service is very polite and fast. They have a great collection of Sachsen cuisine with a seasonal section. They also boast a good collection of beers and wine.

Must try: Strudel, Sauerbraten, Gose Bier

Appalling. I ordered an Irish coffee - they served me something that tasted like petrol with instant coffee from a machine and charged me 7 euros. When I asked if I could change the drink (because it was disgusting) the two very rude older women managing the cafe got extremely angry. They were not prepared to simply make another instant coffee and put a shot of another liquer in it. The poor junior till assistant was too terrified to stand up to them when they had a go at her about it. Awful atmosphere, avoid like the plague.

Loved the place, loved the delicious Lammhaxe (lamb's leg), the generous mixed salad, and all other dishes I tried. Sadly the so-called Mövenpick ice cream isn't Mövenpick but Nestlé. Great friendly service
