Stayed here for business and it is a great hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. I just wanted to point out the option not to have your rooms cleaned by putting up a sign at the door so the hotel can also save detergent and water. This is a great idea. In other hotels where I have recently stayed, daily cleaning was cancelled altogether because of COVID, as they said, but I had the impression it was mostly a weak excuse for not hiring enough staff. So 5 stars for letting the guests decide!

Very nice Hotel in a very central location. The staff was very friendly, checkin/checkout fast and efficient. The room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was good, some warm selections would have made it even better.

Hotel itself is clean and quite comfortable. The biggest problem is the staff. I came to breakfast with the coupon that says '9 - 9.45'. Lady told me to keep it for the next day. The next day i tried to enter the breakfast earlier due to my transport and early check-out. Showed the coupon to the lady at the desk and she told me that it's "impossible" because my coupon is not valid for this hour. I tried to explain and told her that i just wanted to grab a coffee before my trip. She refused and told me that she has no place for me (there were many empty tables) so i came at the reception and asked for new coupon. Lady told me that she don't have any so that's that... Overall I'm very upset about this situation and from my point of view as a guest and costumer it's unacceptable and very rude not even trying to find a solution that comes in favor for your guest.

The hotel is very modern. The beds are comfortable and the room is cozy. The bathroom is very beautiful and has all the amenities you need. The breakfast is delicious and very reasonably priced. I stay here any time I am in Leipzig. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that it was a little expensive for the size of the room compared to others in the area.

Really good value for money. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly keen. The view from my room of the Nikolaikirche was amazing especially at sunset. Breakfast was very good - everything's very fresh and regularly replenished by the highly efficient and friendly staff. All in all a very positive experience.

I really really love this place. I got to the hotel at about 12 am in the morning I did know that my hotel booking is only kept until 6pm in the evening. So my room had been given out but luckily enough the have a sister hotel just the other side of the famous church and there was a spare room for the night. I was checked in for the night in what was unbelievably a lovely room and it was sad that I had to check out the next morning to move back to my previously booked room. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Everything from staff to services to rooms al brilliant

After the previous good experiences in other hotels of this German chain, we decided to stay once more in a MotelOne.

The hotel has an unbeatable location as everything is within walking distance: to give you an idea, the breathtaking Nikolaikirche is just in front of the reception, if you turn the corner you are on the pedestrian and busy Grimmaische Straße and in 5 minutes you can reach the Hauptbahnhof too.

Room is larger than the ones of other Motel One hotels but still basic (little or no furniture at all; maybe just a safe and a mini-fridge would be appreciated).
The bathroom is small too, but the shower works very good.

Reception is cozy but there is a nice larger lounge at the 1st floor.

WiFi works properly all around the property.
Can't say anything about the breakfast as we were on a only-bed treatment.

If you are fully aware of what you are reserving when staying at a Motel One (an affordable design hotel, with essential services), you can only give a 5 stars rating. They never disappoint you.
