One reason why I paid Leipzig a visit. To see the Bach Museum. It didn't disappoint. The audio guide is very helpful. The museum is small but pack of good historical info and collection of instrument.

Great Museum to learn about Bach in all his facets or just to enjoy for admirers. One of the main reasons why we visited Leipzig. Impressing place, in front of Thomas Kirche with the Bach monument. Not very big, just right. Also children enjoyed it a lot, especially the interactive parts and audio guide (well done!), which were by the way neither superficial nor childish, to understand the importance of Bach and to appreciate his music by playing and listening. Spend really few hours inside.

Ran into this nice gem! It's a cute courtyard and a blast from the past if you are into classical music, I'm glad they still treat these composers with great respect, and staff has a sense of humor. It is small and the gift shop does not have anything attractive sadly.

This is definitely a must see museum. We were lucky to have come on a day that it’s free admission. It’s usually €8/person. We just donated €€. The audio guide was very interactive. It depicted the important highlights of the life of Bach and his lineage. We spent more than 2 hours. There are samples of audio of Bach’s musical pieces which takes you back to this time era. What an amazing museum.

Small, but very informative museum. There isn't much stuff to see, but there's lots to read about Bach.

Amazing collection of historical artefacts and the family history is very interesting. Beautiful part of the city. The church next door is not part of the exhibition. There is a beautiful coffee shop as part of the museum.
