The museum is good enough to enjoy the stories of the Greeks. However, it has no ancient monuments as it contains prototypes for statues, vases and temples. However, It contains some nice art work and it is the only place in Kassel to buy souvenirs as postcards and magnets ???? ????. A bit expensive souvenirs, but it's okay..

A beautiful art gallery housed in a new classical palace in a landscape park.

The gallery holds a fine collection of art including works of Rembrandt and Rubens.

The landscape park is named Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe (which means mountain-park) and it has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2013

2 vincent “puzznic” pennel - a year ago

apart from a handful of gems, second rate works from second rate artists. reflections, bad and sometimes flickering lighting deserve the exposed pieces. one entire floor closed (without explanation, possibly because of missing enough employees) and many works removed from the walls with hooks left falling down. unpleasant and amateur staff seal the visit. how sad.
