Friendly staff. Not too many choices for food in the menu. I got veal with fig sauce. The quality of the food was good but I did not like the sauce. It was too sweet and not fit for meat. The food in this restaurant is pricy that it could be because of the location of the restaurant.

For such a great place with quite high prices, I was shocked to receive a plastic straw when I ordered lemonade. In 2019, in a first-world country such as Germany, I believe that it's MANDATORY to be as sustainable as possible - not to mention that it is so easy to do.
A suggestion to management would be to either replace the plastic with paper straws, or even better - bamboo/metal. That's more of what I expect of such a good restaurant.
Beyond that, service is great!

The chief in this restaurant can’t cooking at all. Really. It’s not a restaurant food, it’s bad fast food as maximum. We took a fish, soup and burger - everything was terrible.
Long waiting time. The only thing saving the situation is staff.

The "alte wache" in Kassel (Wilhelmshöhe) is the best place to go when it comes to pasta. The noodles are all handmade and are of very good quality. The service is above average. The rustic ambience convinces with modern furnishings. A clear recommendation for this restaurant.

I was yesterday with my boyfriend for drinks and cake.. ordered strawberry cake without cream and got it with cream. Upon remaking that my initial order was without cream, the staff started arguing with me… I had to avoid making a scene an decided to eat it like that… the taste was horrible.. it tasted nothing like house made, more like ready to eat grocery market frozen cake. And to put the lid on the whole thing, the prices were so high, I was reminded of a Michelin Star restaurant in Paris… at least there the food was exquisite! I will never set foot in this lousy place!
