Very charming and warm welcome. Staff was really friendly. I booked a room with private bathroom and it was very big, extremely clean and quiet. The hostel is near the train station, less than 15 min walk to the beginning of old town. There is no free parking in the surroundings but they have got place in their own garage for 10€/24h so it is a good deal. I would definitely recommend!

We had some issues with getting the keys from the automated dispenser, but the manager was nice and helpful. The apartment is newly renovated an comfortable, but can be a tad bit noisy since it's right on the street. If you're used to urban noise and sounds from upstairs neighbors, it won't bother you. Pricewise it was great.

Good points: very close to the train station;
spacious room; personal balcony.

Bad points: very run down and looks like it (e.g. the lock in the bathroom did not work, toilet roll holder fell off);
it was 30 degrees when we were staying and there was no A/C so it was impossible to sleep at night;
everything is fully automated and there is no staff, so it's unclear who to go to if something is broken/you need extra towels/etc.;
no one came to clean the room and change sheets and towels;
tiny bathroom.

Overall, it's okay if you need to be close to the station, but I don't recommend to stay here for more than a night.

Close to main station for quick commute. 15-20min walk to all areas downtown. The room was nice, clean, easy to access and felt like we were privately coming home each day. Full kitchen is nice as store is around the corner and no breakfast provided, which is fine. My only issue was bathroom shower could use a harsh bleach scrub down, looks clean but up close could be much nicer -also shower head. Overal, great! u0026 will stay again if visiting area.

It is really nice and clean but you have to choose if you want private bathroom or shared. You need to walk 20 min to old town but there are Bus stations nearby. It does not have elevator.

A great location - arriving into central train station literally 5mins walk - also bus and tram stops nearby.

Supermarket and restaurants 5 mins away and the Old Town about a 20min walk.

Abd the Manager was so welcoming and friendly offering lots of advice and information - a Good Guy !!

We stayed 3 nights in a ground floor studio apartment at a very reasonable price. It was spotlessly clean and very nicely presented with a lovely bathroom and a very well equipped spacious kitchen.

We had a really nice experience at BS Boarding House and would definitely recommend a stay here.

Abd, we hear you are looking after Ellie and Fintan so well during their three week stay there - thank you so much - very much appreciated.

Great find, 5 mins from Central Station,, supermarket restaurants all within walking distance Abd, the manager very accommodating ,gave us loads of helpful information stayed in groundfloor appt, with my two sisters,, lovely quiet location despite the fact we were so central, spotlessly clean, would definitely book again ! Thanks for making our so comfortable.
