By far the best restaurant in Handschuhsheim and probably in Heidelberg too! Great variety of dishes: Real chicken nuggets for kids! Awesome Bulgarian spade for the hungry ones! The atmosphere and the personal is also outstanding. Recommended 100%.

Amazing traditional Bulgarian fare at reasonable prices. The portion was huge, and we even got a nice liquor to wash things down. The service was exceptional, the staff was friendly and the chef even waved from the kitchen!

Unfortunately, since the menu completely changed, it's now just another Italian restaurant among too many in Heidelberg.

I really liked it before, but now they replaced the very creative dishes they had with pizza, pasta and risotto. You can find these in so many other restaurants, and you can easily cook them at home too.

Like most Italian places in Germany, this place serves decent but not great Italian food at inflated prices. The pasta is home-made which is much appreciated, but most of the food can be done at home at equal or higher quality. We tried all the deserts and one was especially good, but again the others where just standard and average. The service was very nice, but they also don't take card. A restaurant where you are probably ordering multiple courses and multiple drinks should take card by now.

The menu had been changed and the amazing meat stick is gone. Although the service is still fine, the food quality dropped compare to before and the price is a bit too expensive consider the amount of food and the taste in my opinion. Now it is Italian rather than Bulgarian….It is a pity……

Lovely dining room inside the beautiful little garden with chairs and tables outside. Waitresses generally very attentive, polite and unobtrusive. Food is a mix of local traditional and Bulgarian, all delicious. The white wines tried were quite good. The prices are very fair for the portions served.
