Clean and Friendly Boardhouse in more or less Sherlock Holmes fashion. The room was nice u0026 comphy and perfect for an overnight quicky even though I went for the low cost room 'economy apartment' with 16m². The double/twin beds are actually single once which rest on rolls which reveal the under the hood hostel flair when cuddling with your better half in the morning. This Room included a suitable bathroom, small, working, kitchen, a television set and a desk to get some work done if necessary. It's not the cheapest and for the price I would have expected a better breakfast quality which to me, after a night out in Hanover, didn't really revive my spirits in the morning; short: a bit less mini croissants variations and a bit more good coffee and eggs... But maybe that's down to preference, who knows! I'd qualify it as an 'slightly' overpriced hostel perfect for conferences with money and a need for flair. This place is best summed up with a 'food for thought' metaphorically presented to the visitor by your high tech room access device and it's security features: you'll get presented with a key and a piece of of paper with your name and your room number on. When you leave the establishment, you place your key in a specially for this purpose designed cable/chain-control in fresh 18/19th century industrial design which disposes of the key behind the counter (where almost always some staff member is present anyway) and show the paper thingy (with name and room number on) to one member of staff to retrieve your key upon returning at the reception. But who am I to talk, I booked the economy rooms after all - around 80€ for two per night. So even though I think it was at least 20% too expensive for the overall service, but credit where credit is due: the staff members were all nice, helpful and (as previously mentioned) almost 24/7 present at the reception (no promises, because, I obviously wasn't) and that's one of the most important things. It's probably going to be a one time visit for me but I'd recommend to decide for yourself by visiting at least once if you are that much indecisive that you've read my words this far because you won't regret the investment at least this one time :) Cheerz!
