Geared towards the posh u0026 rarefied end of the market, this was always a development doomed to fail in a town that doesn't really do posh u0026 rarefied. Bit of a 12 o'clock girl in a 10 o'clock town. The shops are - how can I put this charitably - ambitious and not necessarily overrun by demand. Which makes for one of the quainter, quieter shopping experiences on the whole. In other words: it's dull as dishwater but of course thoroughly advisable for people of a more extroverted, showy-offy disposition.
