I had one day in Hanover, so aI decided to come in to this tourist office for a bit of advice. The lady was friendly, efficient and had a ready made map for an one day itinerary. Recommend.

Awesome experience. The team working there is very nice And happy to help you with any questions.
Recommendation: Please go to the tourist office info and buy the Red Thread book (check available languages) and enjoy the 37 key points of the city at your rithm by following a red line painted in Hannover streets. In this guide you will find brief explanations of those simbolic places you will visit.

The guided tour was wonderful. The guide was very enthusiastic and animated. We learned a lot about Hannover thanks to him.

Info center located just opposite to the train station entrance. Selection of souvenirs and postcards aren't very big, you can find more in souvenir shops in the city center.
Here you can buy city guide book. I must say it costs bigger than for example, guide books which were bought in Bremen and Hamburg.

"The Red Thread" guide for 3€ is a great way to see the city center. It takes between 3 and 4 hours if you read all the 36 points of interest along the red line painted on the sidewalk.

was a nice walk for around 90min and seeing some nice archidecture. why is the best sight the marktkirche not included? and the tour ends in a construction side which was odd

You are able to buy souvenirs of Hanover here
