This was a very nice very peaceful Park definitely a good place to take a long walk or a nice peaceful bike ride. There is also a horse track where you can rent horses for riding around the park. Not only that but there is also a restaurant towards the end of the park. There is also a playground for children to play at as well.

What I don't like is that many cyclists think that the red paved sidewalk is a cycle path and that pedestrians and dog owners should avoid it. I also don't like picnickers and grillers on the dog meadow, but there are better corners towards the king's children's playground or at the playhouse.

Der Park ist sauber und einladend. Abends nicht ganz so einladend, weil sich bei gutem Wetter gerne Gruppen von Jugendlichen zum Alkohol Trinken und Rauchen bei den Parkbänken treffen und es dann schon mal dazu kommt, dass Müllreste der nächtlichen Gelage und zerbrochene Flaschen am nächsten Morgen auf dem Gehweg liegen. Positv finde ich, dass es hier eine Hundewiese gibt, denn die sind leider Mangelware in Hamburg. Nicht so gut finde ich, dass viele Fahrradfahrer meinen, der rot gepflasterte Gehweg sei ein Radweg und Fußgänger und Hundehalter hätten auszuweichen. Auch Picknicker und Griller auf der Hundewiese finde ich nicht so gut, dafür gibt es bessere Ecken Richtung Königskinderspielplatz oder beim Spielhaus.
