Perfect view point, have to climb a little bit but it's worth, the view is mesmerizing, you can see the whole port the museum ship is right in the middle, the landing bridges, the Elbphilharmonie building, the St Michael church. There are sitting places and you can make memorable pictures from there. Can get there right from the U-Bahn station Landings bracken

The Youth hostel is simple, yet nicely decorated. WiFi works too and breakfast is very good. And the view is AWESOME. Plus you have a great spot in the middle of the city and the Stage Theater, S-Bahn and U-Bahn very close by.
