This is fine dining on a budget. You cannot compare it to real fine dining, but then again the price is much lower. If it wasn't for the rushed and almost rude staff, I would give the place four stars for it's value for money (but with food at 3 and service at 2...)

Great food, beautiful atmosphere, very nice decor and great service. During the weekdays they have a lunch menu that is really inexpensive and absolutely delicious

Modern, stylish hotel right on the canals. The real draw of this hotel is getting a room looking out the back, over the canals and bridges. More to the right and you will be able to see the church tower, and about 12 bridges! We had the windows open all night - if the church bells don't bother you it's really peaceful - incredible for a big city! Rooms are well thought out and have all you need - nothing super special but new, stylish, compact, and very comfortable.

Fresh products, good service and creative cusine. Probably deserve a star from Michelin.

A great little place with very good service. Food was excellent and great atmosphere. We had a 5 course menu with wine/coffe that was exquisite at a very reasonable price.

We went with a table of 5 and 2 of us already left a review. Regrettably, the restaurant commented one of the 2 reviews saying that one would have been enough. We disagree with this, as being 5 people, each of us shall have the right to express their own opinion.

We took a 5 course menu for five people and a wine paring for everybody (wine paring u003d 21€ / each). The wine paring consisted of one white wine, which was paired with the first 3 courses, and one red wine which was paired with the 4th course. The white wine was decent and we judged it adequate for the 1st course, though we would have expected different wines to be paired with the 2nd and 3rd course (what is a wine paring otherwise?). The red wine was so bad that we didn't drink any of it. A quick google search showed us that it was a 6€/bottle wine. All in all, we paid 21x5u003d105€ for: 2 bottles of decent white wine, 1 bottle of undrinkable red wine (completely left there), 1 bottle of water, 5 bad espressos (average/low quality of espresso in Germany). To our complaints, the staff only expressed concerns on whether we would still pay the bill (which of course we did).

The food was great though, it's a shame that the wine, but most of all the carelessness of the staff, caused the rating to be so low.

Nice restaurant with excellent dishes. Set menu definitely has a very good value. Wine list is OK but with a good price level. Place is recommended by Michelin with a bib gourmand. Restaurant is nicely decorated and very quiet, great for people with hearing aid. Seems to cater to a bit older audience.
