An absolutely perfect evening with excellent service and superb food. We tried this place out as it was part of the Schlemmer Sommer series in Hamburg -- will definitely be back in future! Our beef entree tonight was incredible!

Online hours are until 11pm. Came in around 9pm and was told the kitchen closes at 9:30 and we could only get one course if any. (misleading hours, as the kitchen and restaurant are separate)
The online menu shows various pizza and pasta dishes- almost none of which are on the actual menu.
Ended up ordering beer and leaving without eating, as the menu was extremely small and we were discouraged by being rushed by their incorrect hours.
Only positive was the servers- extremely friendly and helpful, sadly the restaurant experience was a disappointment otherwise.

We stayed at the adjoining Ameron Hotel and can only review Cantinetta's breakfast. We would have loved to check our their dinner options but simply had not enough days in Hamburg left.

Having a restaurant/hotel during Covid-19 times is hard, however I highly commend Cantinetta's team for implementing the requested safety and hygiene measure in their restaurant.
Everything we tried was delicious, they have a wide selection of breakfast foods, the interior is tasteful and I love that during breakfast I have an amazing view of the UNESCO world heritage site Speicherstadt.

The lady who greeted us upon entry, who is presumably the restaurant manager, is an absolute sweetheart. She went out of her way to make us and our 8 month old daughter feel welcome and comfortable. What a great way to start your day! We have stayed in many hotels and travel extensively but have never witnessed such wonderful hospitality.

Highly recommend this restaurant and hope you get to make an equally positive experience.

Overall a pleasant experience. Lovely modern restaurant atmosphere and a large menu. The Hamburger Summer menu was ok not great. The highlight was the dessert. The staff seemed to be new and untrained but pleasant.
Not one of the highlights in restaurants in Hamburg.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Great ambiance. We can sit out in the balcony too.

Great food. Good service. Portion size a little small. Need 2/3 courses, not just a main. Risotto was really great though.

I loved everything at this place. The environment, staff and the food. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they know their menu. I really recommend this place! I'm definitely going to return.
