Atmosphere 10/10, very nice looking place.
Food 7/10, quite good, but definitely overpriced.
Staff 7/10, very pleasant, but I've heard an angry sounding conversation between them - I understand stuff can happen and have to be discussed, but the guests shouldn't have to hear it.

Overall good and worth visiting, but I'm not sure if I'd eat here again.

Great service and lovely staff. The food is excellent to. This seems to be somewhat of a hidden gem since it’s not right on the water.

Always very welcoming, friendly competent waiting staff( Norbert) . We have had the Veal Schnitzel the last 2 times u0026 it’s just lovely. Old style u0026 good portions! Keep up the good work. We will be back again!!

Lovely place to enjoy fine and traditional German cuisine. Labskaus was delicious. Welcoming and family staff. We appreciated the Chef coming to greet the guests after the closing of the kitchen. Family’s friendly place

Food was bland, very slow service, portions were very small and expensive. I can't recommend it in its current state. It was a nice atmosphere there though, but the food and service really weighed the overall experience down.

As the sun was setting we were strolling by the harbor and we stumbled on this amazing restaurant. I always try to find a restaurant with food giving a taste for the heart of the city. I am happy to say we did.

The menu stole our heart with each dish having such a unique description. Everything from the complimentary tasting spoons to our appetizers, main courses, drinks and dessert felt like elevated cuisine combined with my grandmother's home cooking. This really was German Soul Food!

My wife and I both agreed, we wished to have another stomach in order to try all the other courses. Our favorites were:

The steak tar tar, every bite was better than the next. We just couldn't get enough with the explosion of flavors combined with the truffle asparagus.

The weinerschnitzle had a savory taste of home cooking combined with the best potatos I have tasted in my life.

The dark chocolate cake combined with the citrus sorbet had our taste buds desiring to order another one right after. Its richness was delightful.

Can't wait to come back to our new favorite restaurant in Hamburg.

Very good dinner with delicious food and nice atmosphere in the warm and cozy wintergarten. Vegetarian friendly!
