Very nice hotel. Used the fine hotels and resorts program through Amex platinum. Location is good close to main trains and metro line. Common areas are nice. Staff are very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Had a junior suite, layout of furniture was a bit strange, but I fixed it, hopefully they keep my layout design for the next occupant (a love seat would go nice in front of the bed). Other than that the room was nice. And it was quiet!!! That’s most important to me. Really like the local selection of drinks in the mini bar. Club level was nice for extra drinks (please add the fritz cola to the club drinks fridge if you can!). The spa day use area is super nice!

Unique property, well located near the main train station. We loved the comfort of our room, and the availability to order and have breakfast in the room. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with Apples the onsite bar and restaurant. On our first night, we went to Apples for a drink and dinner. It was not crowed, maybe 6 or 7 tables seated outdoors. We were seated quickly by the restaurant but within a minute or two, someone else informed us we had to move from a 4 top to a 2 top. No big deal in the scheme of things, except, we then watched an adjoining table seated after us both order champagne and have it served, including them ordering food before anyone else had come to serve our table. When a second table nearby seated after us received service, we left as "invisible" guests (no one asking why we were leaving). To say the least, we never returned. As mentioned the room was quite nice though we couldn't help but notice the shower and bath area (combined), did not have a clean floor. It was as if the floor hadn't been well mopped in a while. Lastly, the fridge was well stocked with beer and juice, no wine. Not quite right for a respected well known international hotel!

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed.

The ambience was amazing. Hospitality was top notch. The champagne green apple stole the show. Those scones were 10/10. Everything was amazing. Just beware parking is not the best.

It is located in the city center. parking is available on the next streets plus the hotel staff can arrange that as well.
Personal was great, the right attitude and very polite. The room service was perfect.
The room was decorated very well and one feel comfortable.
The hotel is also pet friendly.
Breakfast was nice one have lots of options from cheese, egg, and sweets.
We had a meal at the apple restaurant which is located inside the hotel.it is worth trying and their bar is a nice place to hang out.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and I am looking forward to experiencing Hyyat hotel in other cities as well.

The rooms are really nice. Great layout. Staff are very friendly. They suggested some great restaurants and a walking tour. What a nice clean city of Hamburg. If you are coming from US the dollar is so strong. I had an amazing dinner with a class of wine and tip for 27 Euros. It would have been over $60 in US

A little jewel in Hamburg. Crushed to find out the hotel is closing soon, the staff is simply the nicest you can find. Even if the room could feel a bit outdated, it is impeccable and super clean. I’ve been here several times and always had a great experience. The only issue is the restaurant where the kitchen lacks hygiene discipline and the staff customer focus.Other than that, great experience every time and if you want a top Cosmopolitan, ask for Yohan at the bar! It’s a shame to lose such a great place.

This hotel is just very tired, no wonder it’s closing permanently in a few months.

The D- student among the Park Hyatt properties, it’s a sleepy Sheraton in the best of scenarios.

The staff are all incredibly friendly, so they are the ones carrying the stars I’ve given.

But some things that are just wrong: a Club Lounge that’s only open from 2-8 (that’s right, no morning coffee in the lounge); the breakfast is a production line and not elegant at all; no power outlets on both nightstands (again, this is PH allegedly and we all charge our phones bedside these days); tattered furnishings and hallway carpet; a broken hot tub; and the list can go on but I won’t.

Curious to see who takes over the space and how they renovate it…because a facelift, or perhaps more appropriately full-on reconstructive surgery, is needed here.

All that said, it’s a perfectly acceptable place to stay so long as you set your expectations at Hyatt Place level, not Park Hyatt.
