3.5 stars would be fair. I tried 2 different types of soup. The broth is good but amount of protein (dumplings, prawns, beef) could definitely be increased. The prices are relatively low but you get mostly liquid with a small amount of everything else. Ngah Tinh is located inside a shopping passage. It’s a bit tricky to find, but I actually liked the location and the fact that the atmosphere was rather quiet and relaxed. The server was nice and polite.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Really love the foods here. I always order Bun Cha Hanoi and their appetizers. The price is reasonable for a restaurant located in city center and they serve generous portions of food.

Ngan Tinh is like the monument for Vietnamese food in Hamburg. The restaurant is centrally located and the owner still works there regularly. The price is unbeatable and food is also great.

Highly recommended for adventurous Vietnamese-food-lovers:
- Bánh giò: a kind of big rice "dumpling" with filling made out of pork, mushrooms. There is so much filling and the flavor is just like in Vietnam.
- Bánh bao - bao bun.
- Bún chả: rice vermicelli with grilled pork bellies and meatballs, served with Salat and Vietnamese fishsauce mixture.
- Bún cá: rice vermicelli with tomato fish broth.
- Their weekly offer
- Chè sương sa hạt lựu - Vietnamese dessert with coconut milk and various tapioca pearls (unlike those from bubble tea).
- Avocado smoothie: super rich in avocado flavor.

Their phở is just so-so though.

We have been there Monday around lunch time. Good, friendly and quick service. The food as well as the portions are good. The restaurant is located in the second floor. The price is really affordable. We'll be back.

Lachs Filet mit Kokos Curry und Ga Xao da OT. It was delicious and the tables outside have daylight!

This place is a hidden gem. I fell in love with their crispy duck ❤️. There are many good vietnamese restaurants in Hamburg but this one is the best for me from price and value perspective. The staff is polite and ready to help, my daughter found a tiny bug in her soup and the waiter offered to bring a new soup for free of charge.

Very good food and nice atmosphere. But you need to make sure to scream if you want something. They don't really check their guests
