We really loved the food and the service. We ordered burgers, salmon with rice, Caesar salad with grilled prawns, and creme brulee and lava cake for dessert. Everything was simply perfect.
The desserts were amazing. Burgers were served with sweet potato fries, and they were delicious. Only the prawns for salad could be cooked with more spices, but it was not that bad, because the dressing was more than ideal.
Next time I visit Hamburg, first of all I will have a dinner in this restaurant. I really loved it.

Found it this resteraunt while looking for somewhere to eat in Hamburg and ate here twice over the weekend I stayed in Hamburg.

The restaurant was spacious has a large selection of European delicacies with steak being an obvious focus for the resteraunt.
There is a large selection of steaks and meat types on the menu along with other european focused meals.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty. The portions were also of a reasonable size. But some feedback on the meals I had....

- Chicken fajitas were quite tasty but 2 wraps are not enough with the meal and 3-4 should be included with the dish.

- Some selection of chilli beef would complement the dish if the opiton was available.

- The club steak was quite tasty (even though it was cooked more than I would of liked) but felt it was quite bare as it was just the steak on its own and the ordered side. The steak should really include onions or some type of addtional condiment to compliment the steak.
But it was tasty all the same.

I would have no reservations recommending this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice reasonable restaurant in Hamburg.

Heard about this place b4...also checked the reviews on tripadvisor as I would normally do b4 visiting any place...Came across some bad reviews but this did not stop me from going there as the saying goes ' EVERDAY IS NOT A SUNDAY ' especially in the restaurant business...Well to start with as soon as we reached we ver seated ...The server was very attentive and we ver asked for the drinks...And even b4 v could realise the drinks ver on the table...THATS WAT I CALL TIMELY SERVICE...Kudos for that...Next was the main course...ordered for the steak Ribeye 400 gms ...N wow just was exactly the way v ordered....Also ordered a dessert platter as suggested by the server and trust me was more Dan enough with a finishing touch of FRESGLY BREWED CAPPUCCINO....Wat else do u need...Had a lovely family dinner...Overall great experience and wanna visit this place again...

A steak house that serves a "Medium" well done? Not only did we have overcooked food, the service wasn't very attentive either. Mediocre at best. If you can help it, go elsewhere. Hamburg has plenty of good restaurants.

One of the best Maredo's in Germany. Staff is very friendly, the steaks are prepared very well, exact to my liking. Located in a hard to find place though. You should really visit it.

Had the fillet steak, potato wedges, lobster soup and Apfelstrudel, all of which were excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Can definitively recommend.
