It was an overall clean room but with fairly basic furniture. Very good for a short trip. A good point was the separate toilet and shower rooms but due to that, space in the shower room was quite limited and maybe not completely comfortable. It serves its function of a comfortable bed and stay but it is not exactly a fashionable/modern place to stay.

The rooms are very clean and the location is excellent. There is a street about a 7- minute walk away called Lange Reihe (Long Road) that has excellent restaurants and bars on it. There is a metro station just 1.5 blocks away, a grocery store, and 3 bakeries... We loved the local bar that is in the hotel. Great bartenders and great cocktails.

The room was comfortable and this hotel is a good value. However, the shower is TINY and is probably 5 square feet. There is NO air conditioning in this hotel and during our stay, there was a heat wave in Hamburg (low 90's) and it was miserable trying to sleep. The beds are okay...not hard, not soft, but not just right either...there was no view, but not that it mattered...

Here are the things I liked:
1. All basic facilities are there
2. 5 mins walk to Berliner Tor train station. 15 mins walk to beautiful Altona lake
3. Breakfast was good. Nice selection of tea powders
4. Friendly staff. Quick check-in and check out
5. WiFi was fast enough. But could be improved
6. Spacious rooms
7. Spa

There was nothing to complain about. I would visit again.

Friendly staff u0026 very helpful! Didn't batter an eyelid when we could only speak English, very competent u0026 fluent. Rooms were very clean u0026 tidy u0026 to of a high standard. Really enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Nice staff good but not the most veriaty at the breakfast. Rooms are sufficient but could use a fresh Touch to make them look less cheap. Overall i had a nice stay and would come again

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, very helpful, good ambients. Only 4 stars, as it lacks Air conditioning, which is terrible during hot weather, as family rooms are at the sun side, however fan has been provided free of charge by the hotel

Nice and pleasant stay in Hamburg. Very helpful stuff, clean room and perfect breakfast.
What was perfect is playroom for children next to restaurant with thru view ????????
