I like the overall vibe of this little restaurant. The food on the other hand could use quite a bit of improvement. First of all, the complimentary bread, that was brought out without olive oil/vinegar or small bread plates, was awful. It was impossible to chew, tasted like stale bread from last week. The side salads for the dishes had a ton of raw onions. My minestrone soup was completely under seasoned, tasted really bland. And finally, my main salmon dish: tough, completely over cooked fish, a little sweet yet somehow bitter sauce, and 3 dry, old tasting and overcooked potato wedges on the side. Presentation leaves a lot to be desired as well. Of course I realize that I didn’t order pizza or pasta, which they could’ve cooked better. However, when you put a dish on the dinner menu priced north of 20€, you should really be prepared to actually make that dish well, or at least care to not over cook it and present it well.

Visited this place for dinner while we were in Hamburg. Absolutely loved the vibe. Beautiful quaint interiors, prompt service, the staff was very helpful and courteous. The food was of great quality u0026 mouth watering, authentically Italian. We kept ordering second servings even though the quantity was good. Would definitely revisit on our next trip!

I had orecchiette with homemade sausage and mushrooms. Quite a large serving. My friend had grilled calamari, ok but not to die for. There were 8 of us and service was not slow, actually well paced.

Excellent and genuine Italian food, served by friendly and welcoming staff.
If you are looking to come during more peak hours (7:30-9:30pm), I’d recommend booking-they had a limited number of tables when we arrived at 6:30pm, with the rest reserved for (most likely) repeat customers. The sharing platter for two to start was excellent, as was the filling and very satisfying Calzone (ham, salami, mushroom, artichoke and cheese in abundance!).
Definitely recommend this place-very accessible 7 minute walk from the central bus station and very good value!

They have a wide variety of food options in their menu. Actually, a very complete menu, different from what you find usually in Italian restaurants. The options go from salads to steaks.

I had one risotto and one pasta dish ordered, my impression was the pasta was more tasty than the risotto but both were fine. Price is very reasonable.
The wine quality is also good. ????

They accept card payments ????

Huge menu with great options for any taste, a lot of meat and fish dishes but also a good selection for vegetarians. Service was friendly and fast, food was delicious. Fairly priced. Thank you!
