I had to cancel my booking 3 days before arrival, as soon as I got Covid test positive. However, hotel management did not agree to reduce cancelation fee (90%), because at first I took 'non-refundable' booking option. I know that formally everything is fine, but as a potential customer I would have felt much better if they suggested symbolic fee reduction. Obviously, for the hotel management, the profit is more important than health issues. Therefore, I decided not to cancel my booking so that they can keep whole amount of money. I wish them good luck!
