By far the best place for a new Hip. They really take you by the hand, alleviate your fears, and do a perfect job. The doctors are very kind, helpful and professional, as is the staff. I was surprised how good they are. And I am certainly going back there for my other hip. Highly recommendable!

I asked for service and they said it was ok. Then they asked me my health insurance card. After I showed them my TK Health insurance card, they told me they were sorry but they were too full and could not provide me any service.

I kindly asked if they could refer me to some other hospital, and the person said no, and I should use Google to find another hospital.

My surgery also had to be postponed once. This happens in everyday clinical practice. dr Gauck came by personally and explained the situation. I didn't find it tragic and was the first patient in the operating room the next day. Again, the anesthesia was just great, everything was explained, good communication and a kind word. This continued after the operation in the recovery room, friendly, approachable people with a good dose of humor. That's how it should be. Really good. I had already commented on the station. My pain medication after the operation was great, and people kept asking me about it. When the nerve block wore off around midnight, I was practically being carried on my hands. It doesn't get any better. The support on the postoperative day was very good. There was even time to shower on the third day after the operation. A boon. Otherwise there was really nothing to complain about. The meal was okay. My expectations aren't very high anyway. Overall I liked the service. A word about Dr. Gauck - I'm still very enthusiastic about his approachable and friendly manner. Thanks to Gauck. Also noteworthy that Dr. Gauck came to the bedside every day and asked how he was, and also gave tips on mobility. I am now (5 months after the operation) active in sports again, ride my bike a lot, do strength training and also take longer walks. There are still a few restrictions, but that's certainly normal. Since neither my orthopaedist nor my family doctor nor my physiotherapist had any experience with a total endoprosthesis in the upper ankle, I could always contact Dr. Contact Gauck and promptly received an email reply. Mir wurde am 11.02. 2022 von Dr. Gauck eine TEP - OSG eingebaut. Nach etlichen Jahren mit Beeinträchtigungen und Schmerzen, sinnlosen Arthroskopien und anderen Versuchen meine fortgeschrittene Arthrose im rechten Sprunggelenk zu beheben, bin ich total glücklich an Dr. Gauck geraten zu sein. Die, in meinem Fall übliche Arthrodese ( Gelenkversteifung ) konnte abgewendet werden und ich erhielt ( doch noch ) eine Prothese. Vom ersten Moment an habe ich mich in der Endo-Klinik sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle Stationen während der Aufnahme waren bestens organisiert und alles verlief reibungslos. Ich wurde auf Station 3 untergebracht. Auch hier gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Freundliches Personal, gut ausgestattete, helle Zimmer. Auch meine OP mußte einmal verschoben werden. Das kommt im Klinikalltag nunmal vor. Dr. Gauck kam persönlich vorbei, erklärte die Situation. Ich fand es nicht tragisch und war dafür am nächsten Tag der erste Patient im OP. Auch hier, die Anästhesie war einfach toll, alles wurde erklärt, gute Kommunikation und ein nettes Wort. Das setzte sich nach der OP im Aufwachraum fort, freundliche , zugewandte Menschen mit einem guten Schuß Humor. So soll es sein. Wirklich sehr gut. Zu der Station hatte ich mich schon geäußert. Meine Schmerzmedikation nach OP war spitze, es wurde auch immer wieder nachgefragt. Als der Nervenblock gegen Mitternacht nachließ wurde ich gradezu auf Händen getragen. Besser gehts nicht. Die Unterstützung am postoperativen Tag war sehr gut. Es war am dritten Tag nach der OP sogar Zeit zum Duschen da. Eine Wohltat. Ansonsten gab es wirklich nichts zu meckern. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Meine Erwartungshaltung ist da ohnehin nicht sehr groß. Insgesamt hat mir der Service gut gefallen. Ein Wort noch zu Dr. Gauck - Ich bin immer noch sehr begeistert von seiner zugewandten und freundlichen Art. Das es bei mir doch zu einer Prothese gereicht hat, habe ich Dr. Gauck zu verdanken. Bemerkenswert auch, das Dr. Gauck jeden Tag ans Krankenbett kam und sich nach dem Befinden erkundigte, auch Tips zur Beweglichkeit gab. Ich bin nun ( 5 Monate nach OP ) wieder sportlich aktiv, fahre sehr viel Fahrrad, mache Krafttraining und auch längere Spaziergänge. Einige wenige Einschränkungen gibt es noch, aber das ist sicherlich normal. Da weder mein Orthopäde, noch mein Hausarzt und mein Physiotherapeut, Erfahrung mit einer Totalendoprothese im OSG hatten, konnte ich mich bei Fragen immer an Dr. Gauck wenden und bekam prompt per email Antwort. Zusammenfast nochmals : Besser geht es nicht.

Ich bekam am 4.4. ein neues Hüftgelenk und bin von dem Ergebnis total begeistert. Von Anfang an wurde ich so nett betreut. Dr. Stangenberg hat mich großartig operiert. Am 4. Tag konnte ich aufrecht und nur mit den Muskelschmerzen die nach der OP normal sind nach Hause. Sollte es nötig werden würde ich mich hier auf jeden Fall wieder operieren lassen.
