Holiday Inn Hamburg, an IHG Hotel

Dated but a nice hotel for the price. Plenty of reviews say it’s not close to downtown but that is a short bus ride away. My room was right on top of a busy road but I didn’t hear any traffic noise. What I really liked was that the hotel was steps away from a nice park that was good for walking and biking and it was very peaceful out there.

Okay for a travel stop.
Location is good for continuing traveling south.

Room was without AC. Cleaning could be improved! But still ok for one nights stay. View was nice! Great with a free Tesla Charger on site!

It's always an easy way to stay here and transport/ traffic reach just super fast!
They are always super friendly at the check in, asked if everything is fine later too and offered free water for the stay.
Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet.
Just needed to get updated and a small renovation would be nice too!

Great staff and a good breakfast which is pricy if not included in your rate. My room on the 3rd floor could use a revamp with some tired looking fittings and a cracked sink, but I'm sure after paying 300Euro for a 2 night stay, they'll be able to pay for it to be fixed. The nearby Elbrükken metro station is great, but the pedestrian route from the hotel could be improved, especially if you've got a wheelie suitcase. Views from the higher floors are quite good and not restricted by other team buildings nearby.

the hotel employees are very friendly. the rooms are very nice, heating and air conditioning work well, hot water works well. but unfortunately, The breakfast menu is always the same from day to day, the location is quite far from HVV public transport, and they don't provide toothbrushes.

The room air conditioner is broken and it's the month of June/July right now. Currently paying for a suite and they don't have proper air conditioning in their rooms. The hotel is rated as a four star hotel and I feel they shouldn't be rated that since their room inspection before new check ins is extremely poor.

The staying in this hotel was okay. Nice and friendly personnel and a good enough breakfast choices. The matrasses on the executive floor and view are much better then on the floors below.
