The hotel is in a great location in the center of Hamburg and within walking distance to the main shopping area and the Hamburg convention center. The meeting rooms are spacious and well isolated. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are fluent in English. The breakfast choice is very good and the chef will cook eggs (fried, scrambled and an omelette) to order with a choice of topping. They also serve freshly made hot chocolate. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you are visiting Hamburg.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure!

Spent a few hours here after a Mini Cruise. It was usual Marriott quality and the food was fantastic. Equal or even better than what we had on the cruise. Well located to the city centre with efficient friendly staff,. I highly recommend

Great service and location in the centre of Hamburg. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel does seem to have gone some minor renovations especially the open areas. Breakfast offerings are ok although the one at the Renaissance is much better. The offerings at the executive lounge is good despite some scale back in current times.

Room is clean
Wifi connection is good
Porter service was good
Breakfast excellent
Checkout time 12pm. Doesn’t allow late checkout. Every hour will be €10.
No international plug point.
Toiletries are limited.

I stay at hotels about 200 days a year and a lifetime platinum Marriott member. I do not recommend this hotel especially because of 2 reasons:

It is 29-30C with high humidity and I'm sweaty in the room because the AC does not work properly. The front desk told me the temperature is set at 17C which is not the case because I came from another hotel in Cologne with the AC set at 19C and it felt a lot cooler. The fact that they cannot accommodate anything even with a fan is a huge disappointment, and It makes it very challenging for me to work and sleep comfortably.

The other reason is the slow internet with high ping. If you consider working at all from the hotel or expect a good night sleep, do not book at this Marriott hotel.

I have forgot the charger for my phone, may be it is some way to get it? I can come to Hamburg at 30 April and if it will be possible I can come to take it..
