I always pop into vapiano when I’m in Hamburg. Very delicious a la dente pasta prepared with care by real chefs who do it before your eyes.

Love it. All expect the wait times during the “rush” hours. Staff is friendly and attentive.

It was my first vapiano experience and I really enjoyed it. I ordered pasta, and it was so delicious. The location was very well connected and the place was spacious and well maintained. The cooking stations were very clean. The chef in one of the pasta stations was Indian and I must say he was so nice and humble, plus I really enjoyed the pasta he made for me.

I noticed a postive change from a few years ago when I was at this place. Although the portions got slightly smaller (for me it was not an issue).

Our food was cooked before our eyes and fresh ingredients were used. It took less then five minutes. The whole restaurant is clean and the personal was friendly. My spaghetti bolognese tasted very good (I assume they use self-made noodles).

The second floor gives a good view on the Gänsemarkt. All in all a great place for a tasty dinner.

Not all vapianos are created equal. But this one is surely the king of the ones the exist. Been eating here since 3 years and Always glad to visit this branch. Very central yet peaceful location, outdoor seating on sunny days, extremely friendly staff and of course the Vapiano assured taste.
I love the live counter setup. Lots and lots of vegetarian and vegan options. If you love pastas you will not go wrong with this place. Cannot recommend them for pizzas as much though.

One of my favourite food chain. This one is no different. Friendly chefs, good food options, clean and hygienic, spacious seating, what more to ask for.

This was an incredibly disappointing meal and a horrible system of ordering which was badly handled. You basically queue-up at the meal station without clear segregation or any idea of where is best to queue.

The chefs were pleasant but the food was 'meh'. Absolutely nothing special or noteworthy and for many of the simple pasta dishes, you could easily make a comparable or better dish at home.

There is a little bit of a novelty to watching the chef prepare your food, but if you are actually hungry, the wait is nothing but frustrating.

It is akin to eating at a high-quality school canteen.

Regarding the deserts, huge portions, but this is very much a reflection of their poor quality, especially the cheesecake which, along with much of what we ordered, we did not finish.

Overall, lacklustre and not worth the wait, go to a table service restaurant or eat at home.
