Very delicious food and wonderful staff. Did not need a reservation and we went on a Saturday evening.

I recommend ordering the Vietnamese dishes. I was very satisfied with mine. They also have Japanese and some Vegetarian dishes.

Cozy place with friendly carrying personnel.
Sushi was good, but still not perfect.
And I liked that they serve real tea and not this teabags .
So I definitely will visit the place again.
Ps. If I understood correctly the waiter , online reservation is not working anymore, so better call if you want to reserve

It's in my top 3 places to eat, the food is delicious and the people kind. I was not decided at first if I would dine there, given the fact that I don't usually eat Asian cuisine, but thank the Lord I did. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the people are nice and the food is phenomenal. I recommended it to my friends and I'll recommend it here as well. Best. Food.
P.s. the sake is also very good, especially with the food.????

Im from vancouver Canada, so i know what good asian food taste like. These guys are probably one of the best in Hamburg, no joke. The Pho dac biet was delicious. Although i'm not a huge huge fan of the the thicker rice noodle, the soup itself is delicious. Cuts of beef are plentiful and tender. Appetizers are also very good. My only comment is that the smoking patio is right next to the window, so the smoke blows into the restaurant (well this is europe after all).

English is a bit challenging for their staff, but just bring google translate or speak in Cantonese. The vietnamese owner can speak cantonese

Really liked the food. Service was not excellent hence the 4 stars. Would however return to try some other dishes. Definitely recommend

The location is nice, the food was good, even tho the quality-price was not there…
What was very bad was the service… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a waiter reacting so bad to a group of people wanting to pay separately. He started talking in another language while making the receipts right in front of us being super rude…

Conveniently located in the city centre, Green Papaya offers flavors of Asia.

The place wasn't packed during our visit for a weekend lunch, so we could easily secure a table with the sofa (great for kids).

Food and drinks were served shortly after we've placed our order. I particularly enjoyed the Citrus-Ginger house mix; it's served in a clear glass mug generously filled with fruits plus herbs (mint, ginger), really tasty u0026 refreshing!

Food-wise we ordered Pho for mains (rice noodles in soup broth) and shared a platter of sushi. I polished my Pho quickly, though mainly it's due to my hunger rather than the delicious of the noodles.

In summary, it's a decent place to grab asia food if you're in the area without breaking the bank.
