Pros:
1. Central location. Everything within 5 mins walk - Train station, Bus station, S+U metro, eateries and penny (budget grocery store).
2. Room size was sufficiently big enough for 3 of us. It came with a separate private bathroom. Clean, spacious, Exceeded expectations.
3. Reasonable priced and well within budget.
4. Big windows and can be opened fully. A big relief in summer.

Cons:
1. Check-in had be done at different hotel which was 100 mtrs away.
2. Noisy area from 10am till midnight. Stores do their loading/unloading as the day starts. 3. Crowded during daytime and you have to be careful of your belongings.

Hotel has exceeded my expectations given the cost and location. I’d be happy to recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamburg on a budget.

I could not let the window open because there was a terrible sound from some machines right in front of the window. The view from the window in room 1.0.7 is also a nightmare! I give 2 stars for the clean room and clean bathrooms.

Almost everything within the service of this accommodation is pleasantly convenient, except for check in. Had to walk a couple hundred yards down the road to a different hotel, to check into this one. However, the rooms are reasonably priced for such an ideal location. Anything you need can be found in the local area and many tourist attractions / transport hubs are within walking distance. I’d be happy to recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamburg on a budget. My room and shared restrooms have exceeded expectations, decor is nice and both seem to be cleaned at least once a day.

It was unclear from my booking information that I had to go to a different building to go to the reception and check in. So between the time I arrived and someone on the street told me where to go, I felt strongly like I had been scammed.

Once I found the reception down the street, the concierge checked me in quickly but with little patience, at one point yelling "Raus! Raus!" at me while he was checking in other guests. His mood quickly improved and the rest of the check-in process was straightforward, as he led me and some other guests to the first building and then showed me to my room.

The stay itself was fine. The location is very close to the main train station which was perfect, but the neighborhood is rougher than elsewhere in central Hamburg. The beggars are more aggressive.

The single room I stayed in was clean except for some empty beer bottles under the bed, and the shared bathroom was small but private and well-maintained.

Due to other reviews mentioning risk of theft, I kept my valuables in a locker at the train station instead of leaving them in my room. I'm not sure if that was necessary but it made me feel more secure while I was out exploring the city.

For the low price I paid, I was happy with the quality.

Worst place I've ever been, there is NOTHING acceptable, I really cannot beleave the condition of this place an that I paid for this...ai would give -5 stars if possibile. Trust me STAY AWAY

Smooth check in and check out. But you must walk almost 10 min to get the keys from other block at momo cafe. Nice food at that cafe by the way

The hostel is near the train station , U bahn and buses, really convenient. Also good spot to have a good brunch/breakfast !
The room was good for the few days I stayed, and the bathrooms on my floor were fine. People from the reception were really nice and helpful, thank you!
