Really great little restaurant, food was full of flavour (pate, steak tartare and aubergine), wine was delicious and service was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I would really like to like this restaurant more, but the average food doesn't justify the high prices. The prices on the menu on the website aren't up to date, so we were shocked when we sat down and saw the actual prices. 5€ for a tiny portion of olives. 12€ per glass of 2cl non-vintage wine. Whaaaaat? The fish soup starter was very tasty, but 14€? C'mon, we are not in Paris, people. In the end we ended up ordering less and sharing dishes, and it still cost over 100€ before the tip. For dinner in the Schanze.

Better to spend a few Euros more and go to a fantastic restaurant like Anna Sgroi, where the food is to die for, the wines are superlative, and you can have a conversation without having to listen to your neighbour's loud conversation as well.

A good place.
Unfortunately, when I visited the place, I did not have much time, otherwise I would taste much more.
Our waitress was lovely and patiently explained about the menu and the products on the menu.
We ordered:
Oyster

CHIFFONADE OF BAYONNE-HAMKING
Simple and delicious! Meat that just melts in your mouth.

STEAK TATARE
A classic tartar. The meat is fresh. Wonderful dish.

On my next visit to Hamburg, I will definitely be back to taste more dishes :)

No reservations and you may end up waiting loooong times – there's no bar really that you can wait at so you need to go to one next door. But the food is really good. The rillettes was not as creamy as expected but certainly well done. The tartare with a quail egg had a great texture and was perfectly seasoned. Fine de Claire oysters were a solid choice.

Everything is super. From friendly and helpful staffs until the super delicious starters and main course. I had a great dining experience here.
