Unfortunately, the baker no longer exists and a bank has taken over the area. The showroom is probably being renovated and cannot be visited. I find the visible foundations of the tower very impressive and would love to see them again as soon as possible. It's a pity that so little of old Hamburg has survived.

Eigentlich eine sehr interessanter Teil der Hamburger Stadtgeschichte. Bis vor kurzem täglich besuchbar, da der Schauraum im Keller einer Bäckerei gelengen war. Leider gibt es den Bäcker nicht mehr und eine Bank hat die Fläche übernommen. Der Schauraum wird wohl gerade renoviert und ist nicht zu besichtigen. Ich finde die sichtbaren Fundamente des Turms sehr beeindruckend und würde sie mehr gern wieder ansehen sobald es möglich ist. Schade, daß vom alten Hamburge so wenig erhalten ist.
