Hello I just came from this store. My husband and I are Swiss and wanted to gift my friend's daughter with 2 bags. They told us they don't accept American Express, Visa or Master Card?!? Only local cards "CB"?!? I didn't have cash and we have been travelling for 2 months now. This has never happened to us! A customer went so far as to say foreigners don't understand?? I am most upset because my poor friend who lives in Hamburg was in tears. She bought a bag from this store and was using it and told me how wonderful the store was. She ended up paying for my xmas gifts to her daughters because she had cash, I will of course reimburse her.

We are staying at the Steigenberger and I asked the front desk if this was normal. She said no. We are leaving tomorrow for Zurich and I can put this behind me. But for you who own or run this store, no thanks for making an act of buying Xmas gifts so sad and miserable. My friend was so kind and wanted to share your store with us.
