Del Favero used the lockdown efficiently to renovate its premises and give itself a new look. Unfortunately, this comes together with a new dining concept as well. Previously a properly "Italian" restaurant as known in Germany, they now offer three lines of cuisine: Rudimentary italian, local cuisine of Hamburg, and Sushi. If you think that this does not fit together at all, you are absolutely right. It just leaves an unsatisfactory feeling, deciding between truffeld pasta, sashimi, and "Königsberger" meatballs. At the same time, traditional dishes such as tomato soup or pizza have vanished altogether from the menu. The preparation and taste of what we tried was ok, but not overwhelming. Altogether, a markable loss in quality and a sever loss in ambience as compared to the "old" del Favero.

The food is great, staff mostly professional. The setting is a bit more upper but at same time they are great hosts to kids. I like this restaurant much! The Prices are also a bit high but for the few times we have been there the food hasn’t disappointed
