You'll probably find more tourists than local people, but the restaurant offers a good variety of dishes at affordable prices. They're open till late, we had dinner around 10pm as earlier there was a queue. Staff is very kind. Highly recommended.

Very bad service. They brought us the salad and it took them 10 minutes to bring us the cutlery. They brought us coffee and dessert and did not take away the empty food plates. They closed the awning over us without apologizing and dirt fell on our food. Called the waiter and he said he was going to come and he forgot, the restaurant wasn't even full.

Great outdoor and indoor areas for eating. The outdoor area overlooks a canal. The indoor area is very cute medieval like decor. The food was tasty. They also rent rooms above the restaurant.

The food was nice, but the service was terrible. Inexperienced young people who failed to treat us properly. They informed that there would be an 1 hour delay, which was okay since they told us when we arrived.
The food took 2 hours to be prepared, while other people were getting food even if they arrived later than us. The worst thing was that they didn’t even serve us some beers and they told us that there were problems with the beer barrels. So they lied in our faces, because we could see people being served beers the whole time. Absolutely unacceptable.
Of course there was not discount or a desert for the inconvenience.

I was told to pick the to-go order in 20min, I feel it was the right time to ask whether my order is ready or not after waiting for 30min+. Only then they told me they can't make to-go orders. I am not sure how long they would let me wait if I don't check with them for my order. Others may have better luck with the restaurant, but speaking from my own experience, it deserves a 0 star if I can.

Love the ambiance in this place especially sitting at the terrace. Big portions good for two people. They're fine that we shared a meal because it was too big for us. We had Schäufele and it was tasty.

Wonderful restaurant in a great location.
It was a busy evening but after a few minutes waiting we got a table for two. The staff was very friendly and available and the food was typical and tasty for a reasonable price.
