I’m a Google review aficionado and so I didn’t know what to expect when I selected this restaurant for dinner after a fútbol game in Freiburg last weekend. Some reviews were good but also some very negative ones about the service. I was happy to learn that they must’ve been isolated occurrences as my friends and I enjoyed our meal and overall dinning experience.

Although the menu could’ve used a bit more variety, I still found some very tasty items to eat at a reasonable price. Could’ve been better to have more risotto options or ravioli that didn’t cost 18 bucks, but their pizzas and appetizers were enjoyable enough.

Cert decent wine selection you can enjoy with dinner.

Service was swift and friendly, attentive and helpful.

A bit of a waiting time during dinner rush, which is a good sign. I advise placing a reservation if you know what time you will be visiting the restaurant.

Bathrooms are below, clean and tidy.

Some outdoor seating, but we came in winter so only inside seating available but both look nice.

Flies everywhere. Avoid for outdoor dining.

Food was fine, no thrills Italian. Around 20 buzzing around the terrace bothering myself and others. Eventually after fighting them off gave up and let them enjoy what I couldn’t. 8 flies landed in seconds, see photo.

Waiters didn’t care, no attempt with candles or moving people who were visibly unhappy. Rude response to my complaint, but happy to accept full payment and get the next customer in. Many other options elsewhere, don’t waste your money here.

Always a pleasure . The food is great, the location is lovely in the middle of the old part of town . We go her a lot . Tonight the wine recommendation on the table was Franziska Herbstater - holzfass. excellent wine . We Had a lovely rucola salad, bruschetta and spaghetti. Great food , served by a really really friendly helpful great waiter - i think his name was Julio .. never seen him here before , but top marks for trying so hard and doing such a great job . We’ll be back .

Nice and clean restaurant, had pizza for lunch with family which was very good. We received a friendly and efficient service by waiter. As it should be.

One of the raviolis ordered were very salty and with little filling. Regarding the attention, the person who attended us was very kind but he took a long time to take our order, even being with two little girls.

It was very Hot on the terrace, despite this, the serving crew members did their utmost best to serve the delicious meals. Compliments!!

Comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The food was nice with reasonable price(seafood risotto-12.5 Euro, pizza capriciosa-11 Euro, Penne al salmone-13 Euro. Drinks were around 3.8 Euro each ; not wines)
I would recommend Penne al salmone! lecker.
