Large rooms, very clean, and very personable service. Sound traveled a bit too well between rooms, and the furnishings were "vintage," but the breakfast buffet was excellent.

One bit of ill-considered irony: they tell patrons upon checking in that the front door is locked at 23:30. If you are out late, your room key has a transponder or a code you can type in to gain entry. BUT they also expect you to leave your room key at the desk whenever you leave. So...take your key with you or return to your room before "curfew."

Very good local kitchen, reasonably priced. We were greeted and served very friendly as a family and our two kids even got kids menus to draw on right away - perect.

The food and beer was delicious too.

very typical and tasty local food of the region. Full of locals (which is usually a good sign). The meat quality is very high, which I appreciated. The local wine selection is okay, the beer selection is limited but good. Would recommend to everyone. My personal expectations have been more than just met.

Directly in the Altstadt (older part of the city), unexpected, friendly people, the rooms are clean and wonderfuld old wood furniture, the food in the Löwen Restaurant is good too!

I could not have been asking for a better place to stay ❤

The blackforest cake is really nice, umfortunately not with the senior lady's service. She was really grumpy and stressed.

The blackforest cake was so yum and you get a good view of the street if you are dining out. Calm atmosphere.
