Host was incredibly helpful getting us a table between reservations. Food was outstanding with everyone at the table getting something different with happy reviews all around. If you speak German, it helps a lot, but they were gracious in helping us with our limited Deutsch.

Takes too Long to wait for the simple soop, that supposed to be with meet and vegetables (as the waiters promised). Poor and expensive. Not recommended.

Excellent German cuisine restaurant. We caught a break and were seated walking in but many others turned away.

Fresh. Well made food. Place is very small and you often eat at a large table with other diners there.

It was a great restaurant, tasty most FRESH food very delicious. in a very silent part of city center. The food was served hot and really on time. The staff were super friendly. The definitely know how to cook the best. Really recommended and definitely come again.

Yesterday, we went to this amazing restaurant. A homelike and comfortable location offering exquisite local cuisine.
Especially recommandable for people who like to get a taste of the traditional 'Badische Küche'. Appropriate prices for appropriate dishes. Will come back ASAP u003c3

Definitely need to book this German restaurant. And it's well worth it the food is excellent and the staff are great and very helpful. A must go to restaurant-they were closed on Monday when we visited Freiburg.

They where very unfriendly and unclean. They forgot about us. And when they came they told us that the kitchen was closed and that we would leave. It smelled like smoke and it was really unclean. I totally don't recommend it. April 2017
