Absolutely Recommended ???? been here with my family for a dinner and our experience was amazing. Nice view outside and food was all tasty. I dont understand why people give a bad review, but as for my experience everything was great. If ever I visit Freiburg, I will visit the place again.

As a foreigner myself, I am really surprised by the bad reviews written by non German people. I had a pleasant experience, we sat outside to have a drink, and decided to also order a feta salad, that was really tasty and well presented, and a "homemade" flammekueche, out of the three on the menu we had the one that would not have meat in it, and we were really pleased. The waiter was professional and nice, and we didn't have to wait long before the order was taken and the food to arrive. A great experience overall.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!
Very good location, very cosy but from the outside! Absolutely terrible service, rude waiters and average food that you can better enjoy in the pub around the corner!
Ordered pizza to share and they were unable to give us empty plates to use, unbelievable and the answer was "we have no plates left" but the table next to us was worse poor ladies opened a bottle to share and asked for another wine glass and could not get one! A very weird, needs management change, just felt sorry for such cosy place to have such terrible service!

Late afternoon plenty of free tables, asked to leave because we weren't eating by a rude and extremely unpleasant waiter. Go next door, much better service and cheaper

just sat down randomly for a lemonade (of course their take on lemonade is also "sprite or fanta"), but 9.70 for 2 apfelschorle is too much. no receipt, no change either. avoid. :(
