Breakfast is great and lady at reception is smiling and professional. Room is clean and bed comfy. WiFi good. BUT furniture is old, bathroom bin broken. Bathroom dusty, paint marks on door. Shower too small, shower door is old and difficult. Toiletries are old dusty. Room was warm ???? . Carpet at to.door was stained. I can't believe this is a 4 star. (I paid for a 4 star...)

Quite clean and easy access to the city center. It has a parking downstairs. The rooms have quite a lot of space and the breakfast has a big variety.

What a lovely place. Located very central in Freiburg, but in an unassuming side street, and it really doesn’t look much from the outside. Also the inside decor strikes you as a little outdated. And then you get drawn in by the charm of the people that work there. Smiles and friendly faces from morning to night. The rooms are nothing special, clean and ordinary. The wify signal was okay. But the place was remarkably friendly.
The second reason it became a favorite place for me was the wonderful breakfast, again the waiter was incredibly service minded and the buffet was superb.
I look forward to stay there again.

Amazingly as small as this hotel was I had a good night’s sleep. Although weirdly the room I was given was the highest floor which had an attic-like window that did not have curtains! No privacy as the people in the next building could see inside my room.
Breakfast was nice and they had a nice spread despite being a really small hotel.

The Hotel is situated in a very comfortable position, just few minutes from the city centre. The hotel rooms are spacious and kept clean, bathroom is nice and the selection of breakfast is really good and freshly made (savoury and sweet are well balanced) and the Staff is really friendly. Receptionists are friendly and happy to help you with recommendations. Overall it is a very nice place to stay when visiting Freiburg.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location in Old Town was great. The breakfast was very hearty with lots of variety. We particularly enjoyed the Hundertwasser artwork on the walls leading up the stairs! Overall, we were satisfied with the experience and value.
