They did a great job in the decorations, the virtual reality was very immersive and fun.

Some improvement points would be the starting point, a character come out the door and didn’t give much context on what we are about to do. We were handed a newspaper with some information, all in German with no English available, as we had less than 3 minutes to enter we couldn’t read the whole newspaper.

Once we’ve entered the character gave some interesting facts about the life in Frankfurt in those days (mid 19th century)

We missed some parts of the story, the sound could have been a little louder.

I definitely recommend this tour.

This is one of the coolest things I've ever done! TimeRide is a virtual reality experience that takes you on a VR tour of old Frankfurt in a horse drawn carriage. Since it's VR, you can look around at all the buildings and see exactly how it looked during the World Fair. The graphics are amazing and they really paid attention to detail with the characters, their dialogue, and it even has a little story line that gives you a mini history lesson on one of the early day shop owners right in Frankfurt!

The VR headset is very comfortable and it doesn't hurt your eyes or ears which makes this a great family activity that everyone can enjoy. You'll get to learn some great history and also see some amazing things in virtual reality!

Came across this while just strolling around Alt-stadt Frankfurt. Won't put it in the must visit category, but maybe visit this if you have 30 minutes to kill and are interested in a unique way of experiencing Frankfurt's history. You get to see glimpses of late 19th century Frankfurt through VR and a live set of a colonial store they have built inside. Tour is available both in English and German. The staff was very professional and the VR animations was done well. But 14.5 EUR for a ten minute VR show and 10 minute live explanation seems too steep to me.

I definitely recommend this for all tourists to visit! You get to know a bit of history of Frankfurt in a very realistic way.
You also get a newspaper to read more about everything and they have an English version as well now.
The VR-experience works really well and it's very detailed, a lot of work has gone into making it and it shows. Very cool!

My husband and I got to do the tour in English. It was really informative, and so immersive and fun. We learned a lot and it was a great value for the money. If I could make a suggestion, I would say it would be best to have the actual VR experience in dark, private rooms. That way there is nothing taking you out of the experience.

Thank you for a great experience! I would definitely go again :)

A wonderful, unique experience! I learned things about Frankfurt that I never knew before and I've lived here for 8 years. I love the immersive experience of the VR Goggles and also that there is an in-person experience at the beginning as well. Also, the pricing is very fair.

Technically very well done. However, for me personally it would have been enough to have only the VR experience and not the two historical rooms before. The staff was talking to each other while we were in our VR headsets, which distracted our experience. Would make sense to place visitors in a separate room when being in VR.
