I decided to grab food from here after walking around a bit when I had my layover in Frankfurt. It's a good walk away from the train station which helped with my appetite. The steak and fries were really good. As was the little salad on the side. I'd recommend it if you are in the area.

Wow, amazing food and atmosphere! Forget the haters leaving bad reviews, we speak zero German and as we walked in the hostess picked that up right away, greeted us in English and sat us on the great outdoor patio and gave us ENGLISH menus! Being in Europe we anticipated a slower pace of service cause they are not in a hurry like the US. But patience and smiles paid off with a classic schnitzel, potatoes and green sauce. I had to ask for the green sauce cause I didn't see it on the menu. Amazing sour cream style dip for all the food. We got apple pie and ice cream for dessert. Best apple pie ever and that's a lot to say as America is renowned for apple pie! Overall it completed our German experience visiting Frankfurt. Thanks to all the good reviews and pictures that led us here and helped me order. I literally showed a review photo of what I wanted and it made the waiter smile!

Best make a reservation. Got there at 1230pm on a Saturday and there were only 2 tables left. Most of the seating are outside but it’s relatively comfortable as it’s sheltered and isn’t too cold. Food is decent and service is prompt and friendly.

Try to make reservations or come early if you can! We’re thankful to have gotten seats in the garden without having having to wait long. The portions are huge! Wouldn’t say it’s the best restaurant but good for the German biergarten experience.

We’ve tried the sausages, hunters schnitzel and the apple pie! Apple pie was good!

A real historical restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt. Cosy and nice bar, large open garden and a good menu with a lot of options. The waiters are so friendly and kind to the customers, which is so unusual in Frankfurt to my experiences. Concept of this Restaurant is so nice and cool, you’ll definitely like it!

The best restaurant for real German cuisine. Tasty! Great service, friendly staff, huge portions of delicious food and good beer. All at very affordable prices right in the center of Frankfurt, a stone's throw from the Römerberg. Plus, they make real Italian espresso!

Big and tasty schnitzel together with a unfiltered wheat beer can save your evening. The thing that can make you sad is a waiting time (sometimes even when you booked a table beforehand). Count approx 40min until you be seated (you must ask yourself, nobody will come to you at the entrance) and then approx 30min until you get your order. But you can have plenty of beer while waiting, maybe it is the strategy behind ????
