Classy restaurant in the center of Frankfurt. Interior hasn't changed much in the past 100 years or so.
The food is good, the wine list is formidable. Service is quite good, on the whole it's what you can expect from a michelin star restaurant, but nothing out of the ordinary.

This ridiculous and unprofessional restaurant happily took my reservation Saturday morning, confirmed a table. I arrive at my reservation time later that day and a very rude and unapologetic woman, simply told me "no. you have no reservation." complete and total unprofessionalism, and incompetent staff who are not capable of managing their reservations. Save your money for a place that can accomplish the task of managing reservations, more professional, and at least slightly more hospitable staff, in this "hospitality" industry. McDonalds will make you feel more welcome than this place will.

This restaurant was not up to Michelin standards. Service obviously suffered from inexperienced staff. We had foie gras and my portion was not good at all (others were ok) - it was not prepared well and the texture was appalling. When I gave feedback the answer was very arrogant "it is supposed to be like that". This kind of answers belong to fast food restaurant, not to a Micheln starred one. Overall, the food was rather rudimentary and uninspiring. Dissappointment.

A great place for hedonism and the magical atmosphere of the past. Food and service are impeccable.

Refined atmosphere with a very good service. The restaurant consists of 2 rooms, both very cozy and elegantly furnished. The wine list is really very interesting. The goose patè is memorable like the deer. I suggest to go with the 5 course menu. Michelin star well deserved.

Gorgeous restaurant with nice staff and luxury dining. Booking was easy through Steigenberger and location is great.

Very nice restaurant, delicious food.

However wines were not good.
