Nice collection but it would be needed to add English descriptions apart from the German ones.
The radio for English is an option but it lacks many numbers on the pieces.

Admission fee was reasonable, would have been good to have English translation on exhibits. We had fun guessing what we thought items were and the uses for them. Not a very big museumso didn't take long to get around, we enjoyed it.

The museum emerged as an independent institute from the Archaeological Department of the Historical Museum. The digital table was a great attraction for my kids, some quizzes were very interesting.

If you didn't speak German don't bother to come here, there is no English descriptions at all. No guide or something. U go inside, looking around without understanding anything. However the status, coins and a lot of historical and ancient artificials there are good to see, but what is the story behind it? Only German speaking ppl can tell

It's a nice, small museum in a beautiful location however only suitable for German-speakers, no English commentaries on the exhibition.

Unfortunately descriptions are mainly in German. The museum itself shines mostly in the small, almost missable Asia collection. Worth to visit during free admission.

Nice museum. Small collections from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages but informative, alas charts only in German.
