Too expensive (50-60€ minimum) for what it offers, if you go inside you will see that it has a very small workout area, staff usually wont hang around they stay in the office so if you need something, you wait until they come out.

The machines are limited unfortunately, dumbell area is very small only for two people, cable area is small too, if they can take out unnecessary equipment it will be much better.

The opening hours are also limited to weekdays 8-24 and weekends 8-20, there are other gyms with 24/7 service with much bigger area and much better proces (25-30€).

Do your own research, good luck!

I have been a member at the Sachsenhausen site for sometime now. The trainers here are super friendly and I am immensely pleased with the service here! They design exercises based your body type and expectations. Marvin is my favorite trainer.
The bathrooms/changing rooms are always clean. There is also a small open-air courtyard within the gym which is one of my favorite spots for working out. The long opening hours makes it easy to find the perfect time for a workout whenever needed.
P.S.: You get a goodiebag with useful stuff inside when signing up for membership here! :)

Amazing studio with perfect and sufficient equipment. The trainers are extraordinary and always friendly.
The gym is clean. For warmer days you can also use the outdoor area.

I spent almost 4 years in this club. I can say only positive things about. The personal is present, listening to you, speaks english (which was mandatory for me). Some people are complaining about the service, but to not be surprised you just need to read the contract and raise questions if it is not clear :)
I never paid for a towel if I forgot mine.
Clean changing room, good opening hours. And very important a free parking!!! (It's a nightmare to park in the area).
The club is well equipped, machines are recent and well maintained (I remember there was a broken button, it has been replaced in 1 day which for Germany is really good :)).
The welcome is very good and a trainer spend 1 hour with you in order to explain you how machines work, which are the internal rules etc. But don't expect of being baby-sitted. It's a gym, not a nursery.
The working ambiance is good, you are not in a gym full of over body-builded guys comparing their muscles :)
During summer time some group classes are proposed (Spartans circle if I remember well).
Indeed the price may look high, but quality is expensive.
I definitely recommend this club!!

I have spent with the club 1.5 years and not sure I am satisfied. Perhaps, I should have read the contract terms better before I signed it. No offense, but here are the pros and cons. Pros: 1) great location, 2) extensive opening hours, 3) generally good equipment, froendly staff. Cons: 1) the gym is understaffed. Very difficult to get an appointment for a tranining outside the regular office hours (my introduction training was done by the sales manager since all trainers were booked!). The trainers are very young and change quite frequently. 2) the initial offer to use the spa at the nearby hotel was calcelled half way through my contract, with no alternative options offered. 3) the notice period for the contract cancellation is very long (like 3-4 months), and the staff is very inflexible if you'd want to cancel the contract. 4) no air conditioning! -- feels like a sauna on hot summer days (which there were a lot this summer) so it offten smells quite funny in a gym; 5) no free water (which I thought was a standard practice in the 21 century gyms). 6) Toilet areas are not always clean and hand paper towels are sometime missing. I wish the gym the best of luck but I am not extending my contract there.

They would lie to your face (I think to get a commission!!!) Last year my friend cancelled his contract but was not too happy that he had to keep paying for the next 6 months (which is a long cancellation period but such things happen in Germany). I am not a regular gym user nevertheless, me and my friend requested I take over his contract for the remaining six months and it was made very clear to us that the contract would end in 6 months by Vanessa. It was the only thing we asked to make sure and she confirmed it many times. We had no reason to doubt her. Come the 7th month, they charged me again, and apparently Vanessa does not work there anymore and I have a new contract in their system. I explain I am busy with long travel plans and a medical procedure and cannot even use the gym these days with proof. I even asked to pause my account for a bit since I cannot even use the facilities and do not want to pay for months I clearly am not in Frankfurt and they disagree and say no to arranging an appointment to discuss further. Now I have a bill of 300+ euros to pay.

I am having a very good experience here.

First, it is the location:next to the mains river, which for me is ideal. I can combine outdoor sport and indoor training to lose my weight and gain power. Such as running along the river when the weather is great and some training on my muscles afterwards.

Secondly the trainers are ver patient. I have missed a training section a few times due to personal reasons and they never complained and they are very helpful whenever you have questions regarding the facilities and eating habits etc.
