Fantastic location, right next to the cathedral and 30 seconds from the U-bahn. Superb friendly staff, comfortable beds and all very clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, fresh, generous portions of traditional food. I loved my stay, the only tiny point is one the hotel can’t help, I’m over 30c temperature the room was baking hot, the hotel do provide fans, but it was just moving warm air around. All in all though, a fantastic little hotel. I’d not hesitate to return.

The food is very good including the portion size for the money for this location. The place is very cozy with lots of tables. A wide selection of dishes and very good beer. In my opinion, there are a bit too few waiters because the waiting time for service is quite long. Worth a visit anyway.

Just simply the best in the area! The picture is self explanatory to how great the pork knuckle was! It was just wonderful! Not too salty, not too plain, just right! For EUR18.70 You'll get one of the best in Frankfurt. Absolutely worth the visit. Definitely coming back the next time i come to Frankfurt! Just as a quick heads-up, this wonderful dish takes 30 min to get ready, so when you go there, have that in mind and enjoy the drinks and salad while waiting for your order.

I think this is the tastiest German food I tried in all Frankfurt. The staff was lovely and attentive, the location is quite nice and relaxed and the food is delicious. I never thought potatoes could taste like this, it was beautiful. Large servings and reasonable prices.

Comfort place to have a meal. It just locates right behind the cathedral. Really Germany. Although I didn’t order knuckle. The schnitzel, deer, still surprises me. It tastes amazing with either beer or local apple wine. I’m enjoyed in this restaurant.

Great for comfort German food. Yes, it is a Bavarian company but if that does not bother you, the food is good, portions are generous, the service is friendly and used to tourists. I had the hunters schnitzel (jägerschnitzel) that is delicious with a creamy mushroom sauce and pasta. Had apple strudel for desert with ice cream. It was a great overall dining experience.

good german food for an affordable price (amazing mustard). great beers and nice decoration. they clearly had too little staff for the amount of costumers - and some waiters were not really kind. wouldn't advise to go if you're in a rush
