I tried going here without a reservation 2 weeks before the actual visit and was unsuccessful. Despite a clipboard-toting and a bit secluded restuarant, Joe Pena has a charming indie feel with its bare wood floors, Latin soundtrack and amazing food.

Quesadillas , Churros and a bunch of starters are good enough at this place. I look forward to dining here again soon. Very chilled atmosphere with awesome food what else to ask for?

The portions were a bit small for me especially for the price. However, super friendly service and delicious food is what I would say would summarize my experience.

Food looked nice but tasted normal. Not true Mexican taste. There was a Morrocon waiter who was very helpful to guide us to halal food. Loved the outdoor seating but it is for smookers. Indoor is dark and loud music.

I had steak with a bone (sort of cote de beauf) and it was okay. Note the staff didn't ask how I wanted it!?
Fries were poor - as if reheated several times - and the so-called "homemade" sauce as if poured from a Heinz flask! A piece of corn on cob also tasted like it had been reheated. In all disappointing. The staff - although friendly - seemed overworked forgetting orders and making mistakes.
WHEN visiting the restrooms, however, I felt inclined to offer three stars. The the door fell off!

Good Mexican restaurant and bar, cocktail is tasty. The place is quite big with outdoor seating as well. Price is fair based on the fact that Mexican food in Germany are not cheap.

Bad Quality, Enchilada with a lot of cheese and a small bite of chicken. And th price is high, it doesn't deserve even 5 Euro for the main course. The drinks are full with Ice and no coconoutcream in Pina colada

Go to Mexican place in the city. Very popular, especially in summer (even on weeknights). Would definitely recommend getting a reservation.

Service is quick, and the food it tasty. Shout out to the happy hour (6-8, daily). Definitely get the margarita pitchers.

A really cool place for a dinner night out and a couple of drinks with friends.

I had the "Enchiladas de Pollo" and as a group we ordered Nachos. The enchiladas were great, but I wouldn't order the nachos again.

Even though it's not an authentic Mexican restaurant, the food is good and you can enjoy some tequila or a good mezcal
